TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

(T) They hunt the beast without success. (EX) There might be another ship. (T) Why didn't they leave one person to tend to the fire. (Y) I have made stupid mistakes in my life.

Y i have felt like something was after me
T. The twins claim that they saw the beasts, so Jack brought together all the biguns to find and kill it, but they have no success, but they find an interesting cave though.
ReplyDeleteEX. Its exciting that Ralph lets Jack take the lead, and that Jack didn't get them all killed.
T. what now?
Y. I've had to lead a few times in the past.
T = They all go to the one place on the island that noone has been.

y = I once foud an awesome spot for a fort.
