TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

T will they ever get rescuded
Y what will happen next
T. Jack and co. follow a few miles long pig run and find themselves on the burned off section of the island. They stumble upon the DEAD GUY WITH THE PARACHUTE, and they run for their lives, thinking he was the beast.
ReplyDeleteEX. its exciting when they find the dead man.
T. What will jack do?
Y. I've had the living crap scared out of my plenty of times.
(T) Jack, Ralph and Roger climb the mountain and find "the beast". (EX) The suspense was great when they climbed it. (T) Why do something as stupid as looking for the beast? (Y) I have climbed a mountain before.
