TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

T OMG A talking beaver ( they meet a talking beaver)

Y there are a lot of beavers near my cabin in Grandbe

y- I have gotten mauled by a beaver before and almost died. (not realy but i have seen a beaver before

(T) The kids meet the beavers and Edmund is found out. (EX) Aslan's name carries a proud air " They say Aslan is on the move--perhaps has already landed" (Lewis 74). (T) Why does a talking beaver not creep me out? (Y) I like this part of the book.

T. The kids meet Mr. Beaver, and learn about Aslan. Of corse, each the kids start having feelings, Peeter feeling advanterous, Edmund scared crapless.
