TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

T = Because of more magic and lazy writing, Aslan comes back to life and turns the statues back into living creatures.

T = Why would you kiss a lion? Especially a biblical lion.
Y = This kind of stuff seems to happen a lot in fantasy novels.
(T) Aslan lives, happy day!!! the witch apparently doesn't have the knowledge to kill Aslan. (EX) "the table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards" (Lewis 179). (T) To add to Elliot's point. Who would kiss and bound, bloody and dead lion? (Y) I love this book.
