TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

(T) His tent Catches fire.

(T) Why would you through a match in a trash bag.
(Y) I have accidently done that.
(T) He summits the Thumb. (EX) "I was on top of the Devil's Thumb" (Krakauer 153). (T) Why does he do so many stupid things? (Y) I feel a twinge of sadness but a lot of happiness from this story.

Y i have had to hang out in a tent for longer than i wanted to.

T. Krakaur summits tthe thumb, and goes back down it, experianceing hevy snowfall and harsh winds, his tent caught fire aswell.
