(Y) I have the same but different problem
(T) We learn more about Chris' relationship with his family. (EX) "He shaved, trimmed his hair, and readopted the clean-cut look he'd had in high school" (Krakauer 119). (T) Why did he bring a machete and a gun to college? (Y) I love this book!

(T) Chapter 12 took us back to Chrs Mccandless's childhood.

(T) What did it mean by "he was temperamentally incapable of extending such lenity to his father?
(Y) I think Chris hates his father for some certain reason.
T chris has taken lots of trips like the one he took to his death.

T. This chapter goes throuch Chris' childhood. It talks about how he found out about his dad's other wife, and how their relationship turned into the poops after that.

Y. I've hated my paretns, but ive gotten over it.
T = We learn more about his childhood.
ReplyDeleteEX = He was almost crying, fighting back the tears, telling Dad that even though they'd had their differences over the years, he was grateful for all the things Dad had done for him.
T = Why did Chris get drunk, I thought he spent his weekends giving food to the homeless.
Y = This was an interesting chapter, I enjoyed reading it.
