TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

Y I'm confused at this man, logic.
T - many things happened in this chapter people find the bus along with a ranger, his camera get barried and leaves his rice

Y i have gone camping in july
T = In this chapter we learn about other places Alex went or tried to go to.

T = I still don't get why he is getting rid of all documentation he exists.
Y = Iv'e been to Las Vagas before, but it was on a vacation with my family.

(T) Alex's car is discovered, his journey in the southwest is chronicaled. (EX) "The rangers searched the surrounding area for anything suspicious according to Walsh, and then departed" (Krakauer 26). (T) Why did he ditch his car? (Y) I found a random car in the desert.
