    (EX) The Jewish people were reassured when the Nazi's came in.
    (T) Why where the Jewish people not scared.
    (Y) I have wittnessed an invasion of a country first hand.

    (EX) The Jewish community was reassured when the Nazi's came in to there town.
    (T) Why were the Nazi's soldiers so nice to the Jewish people at first?
    (Y) I have never in a situation like this one before.

  10. T. the first few pages of the book take a span of a few months before they were all forced out. The narater constantly mentions a "Moishe The Beadle"

    EX. i didn't really find anything exciteing...yet.

    T. what happens next?

    Y. I've been forced into some preety bad situations before.

    EX = Elie's dad was called to a counsel meeting.

    T = What do a lot of these words mean?

    Y = I'm a Jewish teenage boy.

  13. (T) The Germans move into the town. Everyone else seems to be oblivious to the inevitable fact of deportation. (EX) Exciting is not an appropriate term for this book. (T) Why are these people in such denial? (Y) I can't.
