ReplyDeleteT. the first few pages of the book take a span of a few months before they were all forced out. The narater constantly mentions a "Moishe The Beadle"

Y. I've been forced into some preety bad situations before.
T the natiz came into elie's town and have not done anything yet

T = Elie starts to talk about his life before and during the Nazis invaded.

T = What do a lot of these words mean?
Y = I'm a Jewish teenage boy.
(T) The Germans move into the town. Everyone else seems to be oblivious to the inevitable fact of deportation. (EX) Exciting is not an appropriate term for this book. (T) Why are these people in such denial? (Y) I can't.
