TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

(T) They try to sort things out about the night previous. (EX) They can't start a fire without Piggy's glasses. (T) Why are they so incompitent? (Y) I have been attacked during the night in the wild. (horses)

T = Ralph, Piggy , Sam, and Eric, go to castle rock to set things straight.
ReplyDeleteEx = Piggy gets his brains splatted everywhere, and the twins get kidnapped.
T = Jack just saw Piggy die in an extremely gruesome way, why does he only care about the conch?
Y = I cried a tiny bit o9n the inside.
