TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

T i wounder why she would go up into a strangers house. kinda creepy
Y i have seen a girl i thought was cute out of my window but didn't have the guts to talk to hur
(T) A girl is outsides a girls window and gets called by a kid

(T) The narrator is obsessed with a girl named Ruby. They become friends and then she has to leave. (EX) I would like to climb a fire escape. (T) What is her psychological problem. (Y) I like to climb stuff
ReplyDeleteT. the story follows Kyle Jesson, who falls in love for a girl named Ruby.
ReplyDeleteEX. I find it exciteing why she was in the states, and that she kissed him, on the lips even!
T. If there was a sequel to this story, what would it be about?
Y. I've had those feelings of love.
T = A girl with problems moves from England.

T = I completely agree with what Riley and Nick said. I also don't get why she would want a baby at age 15.
Y = I've met a pregnant person.
