TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

(T) They build shelters, still no hunting success. (EX) They almost got a pig. (T) Why do the hunters get special treatment. (Y) I can't build shelters either.

T: why didn't anyone else help with the shelters?
Y: this relates to me because i have been on a beach before
(T) they so hunting but still cant get food

i read about it rainng a lot. It was exiting when they realized they needed to bild shelters. My qouthion is waht is a pig doing on this islamd. It conects to me because i have eating wield frout before.

Y I like to hunt
T. Jack tries once again to catch a pig but fails, he then gets in a fight with Ralph about the workload. In the later pages Samuel finds a place that can be his own.

Y. I got a hunters license at the end of summer.
