TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

ReplyDelete(T) marjane satrapi is starting to explain her life in pages 1-13.
(Ex) "this is me when I was 10 years old. This was in 1980. The year of the revolution I had to take action , so I put my prophetic destiny aside for a while. (other things left out)"
(T) what's up with the guy who looks lika an Amish person?
