TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

i read about taking notes

will he talk about talking out during class?
i have note takin issues
(T) He talks about how teacher think people take notes the same.
ReplyDelete(EX) He has a friend in the Ivy league.
(T) When will he get to the test stuff?
(Y) I have horrible note skills.
(T) They tell you how to create your own unique note taking system. (EX) "Notes, however are your tool to help you retain and learn information" (Mooney and Cole 87). (T) Why does this seem so simple but work so well? (Y) I HATE notes.

T takeing note is important but make them presonlized

(Y) I think note taking is a big part in getting good grades in high school and any other grade your in.

Y = I'm kinda bad at taking notes, I've been getting a lot better though.
