TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

(Y)I have had computers die to many times!.
T = In this section we learn about reviewing your notes, and notebook recovery.

T = I wonder how many people failed a course just because of a lost notebook.
Y = I lost a notebook before, it wasn't fun.

Y. I've lost my notebook before.
(T) They tell us how to file and organize your notes and how to find them if you lose them. (EX) "Start the day with a new sheet of paper" (Mooney and Cole 106). (T) Why are notes so easy for me but tests are my weakness, it switched from last year? (Y) I am good at notes.
