TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

(T) They discuss the way proffesors are important in how you take notes. (EX) "With the relevance scale in mind, all that we have left to help you navigate the world of notes is some fundamental good habits to get into anytime the notes start flying" (Mooney and Cole 105). (T) How did they come up with this stuff? (Y) I have had teachers who are terrible lecturers.

Y: I have had teachers who are definite speed demons
T some teachers are diffrent than others in the way they teach

T how do you get to know your teachers in college?
Y i think it is good to know your teacher to and know your "crowd".
(T) Each teacher has there own way of teaching there students.

(Y) I like that I have good teacher to help me through high school.
T I notice that at red rocks or any collage that note takeing is really hard to do when the teacher is talking non-stop, so when they talk about note takeing I think that part helped me to take notes.

Y Note taking is really hard to do when you have a teacher that talks non-stop and I have already had that happen to my and it is super hard to take notes in a invironment like that

Y: I think taking notes is a really hard thing to do for me.
