TEXTY
T- Tell me something about what you read
EX- Write out an EXcerpt from the book (with citation) related to the most significant or pivotal point in the reading
Example: "My father was crying. It was the first time I saw him cry. I had never thought it possible" (Wiesel 19).
T- Try to understand better by asking a question
Y- How does it relate to you? OR, if it does not relate to you; How did reading this make you FEEL?

Y= tim and I were friends all the way utill second grade and that one of the longest firend ships I've had.

silent Y~i saw a movie i dont remember that has that same thing happen, ya know, like, over the phone? exept it was the other way round, cause, like, the GUY dumps the GIRL, and the GUY comes back, but the GIRL already found another...never mind.

y- i also got married to a girl after knowing her for less than 1 week once.... didnt work out. and the last time that i stayed in a motel it smelled awful and i didnt sleep.
