Mr. E has Posed a Good Question (please answer)

As a trainer of teachers, I am interested in what advice students (members of the Millennial generation) have for teachers of the older generations; what do you think teachers of the other generations should keep doing and what should they stop doing?

  1. I think that teachers that were brought up from a different generation don't understand that we all don't learn the same as one another and that's why Denver Academy was made. i love how the teachers here understand that we all have different leaning styles.

  2. I belive that the bulblic school in genral is a hole differnt sistem all together. The teacher have a huge class to teach and arn't going to know wather you need indvel ation or not. You need to let them know, even if the way they teach dosen't work for you. athough I'm not sure that I ever went to a puplic school. But i felt bad for my kindergarden teacher, it was just him and a prent that helped out. He sitll had a hard time controling the class. But I do think if they understoud how there stundents learned (for thoughs that care)things might be differnt.

  3. I think that teachers in the current era have made many changes from the previous era, most of them for the better. However i still think changesneed to be made, for example, human bodies are not meant to be sitting in desks for five hours a day. They are meant to be moving. It is true that it is difficult to incorperate academics into phycal activity, but that is the problem. Teachers should not try to incorperate academics into exercise, but rather let the students be free for a certain amount of time. They should then return to the lecture after the students have released exess or unwanted energy and are ready to learn while having more focus.

  5. I think more schools should be like Denver Academy, this way no child would feel stupid. But best of all, the children would feel good about going to a fun school.

  6. i think the teachers in private schools are more informed with there students. They get to know there students and learn how to help them. In a public school the teachers are not as close with there students as in a private school. They give them homework and say that it is due trhe next day. When you are in a private they take the time to help you understand what you are doing so when you go home then you know how to do the homework.
